Thursday

You catch an afternoon or evening flight from the UK to Geneva, we meet you at the airport with our spacious Minibuses for the quick transfer. In under an hour we will have you at the Aravis Lodge near La Clusaz ready to enjoy a late supper and a few drinks in the bar as well as to meet your Chalet Team and talk through the options for your short walking break ahead.

Friday

Walkers in the Mountains Walking guides and maps will be waiting for you to study over breakfast so you know exactly where you're going! If you are joining our guided walking tour, we will ensure that your group and other guests who will be mountain walking with you are happy and ready to go … then it's onto the mountains with one of the Karibuni team who will enable you to get your orientation within the resorts of La Clusaz and Grand Bornand and lead you on some fantastic walks, as well as to the best views and restaurants.

Meet our minibuses at the end of the day, or you may be able to walk back to the Lodge depending on your chosen route. Afternoon tea will be waiting for you to enjoy with fresh biscuits and cakes. Later, a quick drink in our bar could precede the 3-course dinner with wine, after which why not relax in the lounge?

Saturday

Join our hosted walk to explore some of the hundreds of alpine walking mountain tracks available in La Clusaz and Grand Bornand. Stop at one of the beautiful traditional buvettes for lunch and take in the fantastic scenery typical of the French Alps. Afternoon tea will be welcome at the end of a long day and then a pre-dinner drink on the sun terrace watching the sun set over the mountains before enjoying dinner with wine, maybe in the form of a bbq on the terrace if the weather is good.

Sunday

View of Pointe Percee mountain Walk all day exploring the area. After your walk why not visit the unusual outdoor swimming pool in La Clusaz with stunning views over the mountains? Or if the weather isn't so good you may like to explore the Maison de Patrimoine in Grand Bornand showing the fascinating history of farming in the region, or maybe the ski museum in La Clusaz. Finish your afternoon with a drink in one of the villages' wood-clad bars after which we will come and pick you up and have you back in time for dinner.

Monday
